Evan and I spent a long morning running from place to place in the Valley on Saturday. It was rainy but the weather got better just in time to install another hive. Thing went swimmingly and the colonies are all established and building comb for the brood chamber (this is the lower chamber where the queen lays her eggs). Once we have a strong brood-box we’ll add supers for the honey as they go along. We’re giving the ladies (all worker bees are female) a rest for a few days and we’ll have more to update later.
